Films must be orginal, first-time submissions. Required film lengths are as follows: shorts must be 30 minutes or less; animated films must be 60 minutes or less; documentaries must be 90 minutes or less; and and features must be 90 minutes or less. All submissions for preview must be either VHS or DVD. If accepted for exhibition, the following formats can be submitted: DVD, VHS, or 35mm. Any foreign language films must have English subtitles or be dubbed in English. Tapes and other materials become the property of the Boston Bike Film Festival and will not be returned. Payment must be sent in the form of a personal check, company check, or money order. Works-in-progress will not be considered. If accepted for submission, we ask that filmmakers be available during the Festival weekend on October 20-21, 2006 in Boston for Q&A sessions following their respective films. Tape or DVD must be accompanied by the submission form, a signed release form, and non-refundable payment. All films must be postmarked by September 22, 2006. No exceptions will be made.
